Isabelle has a playful and inclusive approach to design, using storytelling and an illustrative graphic style to communicate sometimes complex design concepts and in an inviting and accessible way.
She is interested in the relationship between landscape and people - specifically, how inclusive and empathically designed spaces can build mutual strength and resilience in nature and communities.
Before joining Farrer Huxley, Isabelle focused her MA studies on community engagement and the healing effects of participating in a landscape. This culminated in her final year dissertation which looked at the capacity for biophilia and place attachment within stigmatised landscapes.
Isabelle enjoys making various clay creations and paintings of monsters.
