Lisa has had a varied creative career. She studied Fine Art at The Slade School of Art with a resultant exhibition history and commissions for critical texts from both up-and-coming and established artists. She has also worked within the graphic design industry, project managing the graphic roll-out of product launches for an innovative top-5 tech company. This combination of visual awareness and project direction brings a sensitive and creative but practically grounded approach to her work.
In 2017 Lisa volunteered for Cruse Bereavement Care and Raleigh International in Costa Rica, a country with one of the widest bio-diversities and the happiest people in the world. A subsequent understanding of the impact environment has on our life quality, but particularly in care, has led her to re-train as a landscape architect.
As a recipient of the Landscape Institute Student Travel Award, she will be travelling to the Bloedel Reserve in Washington this summer to research the relationship between nature and mental health.
Lisa enjoys Parkrun, life drawing and walking in sunshine.
