Gavin Cook

Assistant Landscape Architect

As a recent graduate, Gavin is keen to translate his academic knowledge into design solutions that contribute positively to people’s lives. His technical approach and practical outlook brings a grounded and precise quality to his projects.

During his studies in South Africa, Gavin re-imagined forgotten spaces in the urban realm as healthy places for people. His masters dissertation addressed the spatial, social and economic issues that occur in the inner-city of Johannesburg, presenting landscape architecture as a means to reclaim city ruins.

Gavin has a keen interest in furniture design and making, as well as anything to do with sport - whether cycling, hiking, or simply having a kick-about with friends.
